Weighting Completed

This is a multi-colored representation of Chubby's skin weighting. 98% of the weighting for Chubby is completed. How that percentage was arrived at is classified. What remains is tweaks and minor adjustments. Coming soon, Mom's weights!

Background Trees



Background trees to fill in space and low the over all poly count for rendering. Had to create a geometry plane to cast the shadow, since the shadows that were being casted were from the different angles of planes. Just told the geometry shadow not to be visible by camera. And the geometry tree planes to not cast shadow.

Houdini Grass Moving



This is the grass moving that Robby Thomas is working on for our project.

Houdini Grass Test


This is a single frame from a shot of grass I'm doing for the animation. The system automatically distributes grass on any geometry based on a user-created attribute. This means that the grass can be distributed using any method the user chooses--it could be a paint operator, or based on Perlin noise, etc. This was around a twelve-hour render for ten seconds (240 frames) of animation, so this grass may only be used for close-up shots.
