
This is a single frame from a shot of grass I'm doing for the animation. The system automatically distributes grass on any geometry based on a user-created attribute. This means that the grass can be distributed using any method the user chooses--it could be a paint operator, or based on Perlin noise, etc. This was around a twelve-hour render for ten seconds (240 frames) of animation, so this grass may only be used for close-up shots.
